Don't Go all the way to wilsonville for a hotel. if you head in towards portland on the 26, there are plenty of hotels from government camp to welches. Personally if you're going to a lake in the mountains you should be CAMPING. And there are plenty of sites to do so, both reserved and not. There are great hiking trails and it's also full of fish and crawdads. Boating is a must if possible.

Beautiful Timothy Lake has much to offer visitors. Tualatin Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and if you came for an overnight stay Roamer's Rest RV Park is a glorious place to camp. Man, is there heaps of entertaining things to do close to Timothy Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at King City Golf Course; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Butte Creek. All through the warm months, highs mostly are in

| | the 80's at Timothy Lake. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Timothy Lake tend to be in the 30's.
At Timothy Lake you always meet someone from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton; the peak of Pleasant Hill can be distinguished from Timothy Lake. A lake close by is Murrays Pond, and a splendid nearby hotel is Best Western Northwind Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful. If you | |

This lake is so wonderful. Krause Springs is an inspiring place to have a look at
while here; get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Molalla River. The yearly precipitation here at Timothy Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest of the months is July.
