If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Central Cascade Range. Good hiking is available along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 22, of course you could also explore Eloise Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Timber Lake is not the only place close by, View Lake is a close by lake, and why not head up to Hoodoo and strap some skis to your feet. | | you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July. Be careful coming to Timber Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. If you need a place to stay Lodge at Suttle Lake is a magnificent choice, and here at Timber Lake you can observe Double Peaks. Going for a hike on the Cub Creek Trail is always a fine adventure, and if you came for an overnight stay Lemiti Campground is a perfect place to camp. The Central Cascade Range | |

scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Marion Creek is so much fun. For the period of the days of summer at Timber Lake highs are typically in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's typically
in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Timber Lake. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Central Cascade
Range. Get drenched paddling on Collawash River, and a magnificent swamp near Timber Lake is Cornpatch Meadow. Go for a hike on the Fish Lake Trail; why not camp at Trout Lake Campground while you're here at Timber Lake.

 | Roundtrip Distance 13.7 miles Elevation Gain 2,348 ft. This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not. In many instances the hiker will travel down a false herd path and eventually have to correct his/her course via backtracking.
