     The beauty of Tilikum Lake attracts many people from all around. Comfort Inn Mcminnville is a pleasant spot to get some rest. Tilikum Lake gets a good deal of water; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. E R Baker Dam is not far at all from Tilikum Lake, and not far from Tilikum Lake you'll find Hickory Hill Farm Reservoir which is a wonderful lake.
This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel
 
   is Best Western University Inn, and Tilikum Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Portland-Dayton RV Park is a brilliant local campground. For the duration of the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Tilikum Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Tilikum Lake. If you came to camp Sleepy Hollow Recreational Vehicle  
               Park is a brilliant site to do that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by E R Baker Reservoir.

Don't Go all the way to wilsonville for a hotel. if you head in towards portland on the 26, there are plenty of hotels from government camp to welches. Personally if you're going to a lake in the mountains you should be CAMPING. And there are plenty of sites to do so, both reserved and not. There are great hiking trails and it's also full of fish and crawdads. Boating is a must if possible....
