Thrush Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. So much cool stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. If you're visiting Thrush Pond from Hood River, you won't be the only one, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Beacon Rock Golf Course is       close by. Going for a hike on the Eagle Tanner Trail is always a fine adventure, and at Thrush Pond you can see Eagle Butte. Thrush Pond is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Tanner Cutoff Trail, and a short spree to Big Cedar Springs is always worthwhile. During the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Thrush Pond. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in                  the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Thrush Pond. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Thrush Pond has it all. Stay the night at Bridge Of The Gods Motel and RV, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Zigzag River. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Dublin Lake is close to Thrush Pond, and if you need a place to stay Bonneville Hot Springs Resort is a wonderful choice. Hit the slopes at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl in close proximity, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Columbia River Inn. This is a wonderful area for people who like lakes. Blue Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. There's so much to do here at Thrush Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Fishery is a magnificent location for that. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Timberline Lodge. This location, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable things.
