This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Thrush Pond you can take a hike along the Eagle Tanner Trail; a good site to camp here at Thrush Pond is Fishery. This place, Thrush Pond, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Central Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Bonneville Hot Springs Resort is a tremendous place to spend       a night or two, and do put some time aside to spend at Big Cedar Springs if you're here at Thrush Pond. That right there is a heap of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Gotta ski! Timberline Lodge is a good place to do that, and camping at Bridge Of The Gods Motel and RV is always a tremendous experience. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Hood River here, and everybody close by loves                  skiing at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl. Yeah, come here to Thrush Pond for a wonderful time. Best Western Columbia River Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest; the Tanner Cutoff Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. Thrush Pond is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. Thrush Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Sandy River is a delightful whitewater spot near Thrush Pond, and Blue Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Zigzag River; the view of striking Eagle Butte is great. For the period of the summertime highs here at Thrush Pond get into the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's; overnight lows throughout the winter for Thrush Pond tend to be in the 30's.
