Thomason Meadow Reservoir is a location that is relatively dried out mostly; most of the rain falls during May while July is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's                  so much to do here at Thomason Meadow Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Kirkland Campground is a nice location for that, and you could always look at Tamarack Gulch. South Fork Chesnimnus Creek is a tremendous local stream; Thomason Meadow Reservoir is not the only location close by, Berland Reservoir is a close by lake. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Thomason Meadow Reservoir temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Thomason Meadow Reservoir.
