Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Third Creek
Reservoir dip into the 30's. North Spit is a tremendous place to check out next to Third Creek Reservoir; if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn North Bend is a great choice.
Third Creek Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the
Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Millicoma River - West Fork, and there's some exciting stuff to observe at Tarheel Creek Dam in the vicinity of Third Creek Reservoir. First Creek is a stream
that you may run into during your stay, and Joe Ney Slough is an interesting swamp right next door to Third Creek Reservoir.
A magnificent spot to camp here at Third Creek Reservoir is Sandbar Mobile and RV Park. Third Creek Reservoir
is a reasonably wet place usually with a large amount of rain; through December this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.
