At Third Creek Reservoir during the summertime months highs are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Third Creek Reservoir descend into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. North Spit is right next door to Third Creek Reservoir and is a brilliant site; why not have a look       at Tarheel Creek Dam while you're here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Third Creek Reservoir is located in the Coast Ranges. Spend the day on the beach at North Beach since you're here at Third Creek Reservoir, and you can run the rapids of Millicoma River - West Fork.
