Taylor Lake is located in the Coast Ranges. After a long day outdoors Gearhart by the Sea is a great place to spend a night or two. Lakes are great; Cullaby Lake is a lake that's next to Taylor Lake. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. Abercrombie Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth going to, and if you have time, Fort Clatsop National Memorial is a national park worth taking a look at. During       the warmest time of the year highs here at Taylor Lake get into the 60's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Taylor Lake plunge into the 30's. And if that's not enough there's lots more enjoyable stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. A nice beach close to Taylor Lake is Sunset Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Bud's Campground;                  Taylor Lake is not far at all from Astoria. Sunset Lake Resort and Park is a perfect campground here; a round of golf at nearby Astoria Golf & Country Club is a nice way to kill some time. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Taylor Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Astoria Inn, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Cannon Beach Trail.
