    Go to Tanner Lakes if you want to go to a nice lake. You can run the rapids of Indian Creek Klamath Tributary near Tanner Lakes, and Tanner Lakes is right by the Boundary Trail. Tanner Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Sucker Creek Trail is brilliant fun, and if you have time, Oregon Caves National Monument is a national park worth a visit.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors
 
   entertaining stuff the area in the vicinity of Tanner Lakes has to offer. Near Tanner Lakes you come across nice places like Fehley Gulch, and Elk Creek is a great whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Grizzly Peak is easily made out from Tanner Lakes. Yeah, come up here to the Klamath Mountains for a good time. If you're popping by Tanner Lakes from Grants Pass, you won't be the only one. You'll need more than a day to explore everything  
               Tanner Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Klamath RV Park.
Tanner Lakes is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, West Branch Campground is a glorious spot to camp nearby; do stop by Deadhorse Creek since you're here at Tanner Lakes. Be careful coming to the Klamath Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Going for a hike along the East Fork Sucker Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you need a place to stay Riverside Inn Resort is a good choice. Tanner Lakes gets a large amount of water; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July.
Through the summertime, highs frequently are in the 80's at Tanner Lakes. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Tanner Lakes temperatures sink to the 30's.
