Walker Dam is picturesque and it's right next door to Tangen Reservoir, and dry warm beds await       you at Best Western Newberg Inn. Summertime highs at Tangen Reservoir usually tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Tangen Reservoir. A gorgeous lake like Lockhart Reservoir near Tangen Reservoir is a great place to visit, and at Tangen Reservoir you always meet someone from Salem. After a long day outdoors The Allison                  Inn and Spa is a nice spot to spend a night or two; you can stay the night at Sleepy Hollow Recreational Vehicle Park. The high level of rain makes Tangen Reservoir a rather wet place; throughout December this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
