Bonham Spring is a tremendous local attraction, and camping is available at Grants Pass/Redwood KOA. Tall Timber Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Klamath Mountains. Tall Timber Reservoir gets a large amount of water; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Limestone Trail, and don't forget to take a great little tour to Booker Creek. Man, is there heaps of exciting

| | stuff to do near Tall Timber Reservoir. Get wet paddling on Grave Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Riverside Inn. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. A great spot to camp here at Tall Timber Reservoir is Lake Selmac RV Resort; a delightful lake like Rosenberg Reservoir is a nice spot to explore. During the summer months, highs generally are in the 80's at Tall Timber Reservoir. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout | |

the winter are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Tall Timber Reservoir temperatures drop to the 30's. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Klamath Mountains. Tall Timber
Dam has tremendous water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Tall Timber Reservoir, and the nice people of Grants Pass like to hang out close by. Going for a hike on the Althouse Trail is always a fine adventure, and Draper Valley
is another nice spot to have a look at close by. If time allows, Oregon Caves National Monument is a national park worth visiting; if you need a spot to stay Sweet Breeze Inn is a splendid choice. That right there is a load of
entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Klamath Mountains has it all. Lake Selmac is a good lake close to Tall Timber Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Illinois River. If you have a thing about the outdoors
you'll have a thing about it here in the Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There is a glorious hiking trail in the neighborhood of Tall Timber Reservoir called the Kerby Peak Trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Illinois Valley Golf Course.

 | We are staying in Selmac Sept 16 for Cycle Oregon and would like lodging recommendations near where cycle oregon is camped. Please advise. Lone Mountain RV Resort
 | 12 miles away ...V park is in the community of O'Brien, 15 miles north of the California border, near major tourist attractions, and within 45 minutes of six lakes and three rivers. The park sits 300 feet off Redwood Highway 199, the Mystic Corridor scenic byway that connects the Redwood National Park in California with Crater Lake National Park in Oregon. The park has 32 RV spaces in a well-landscaped area of nearly four acres, with an adjoining nature trail and creek.
