Swanson Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. You're almost certainly into lakes, Horning Reservoir is one of those nearby, and close by you come across the Baty Silver King Trail which is a good hiking trail. That right there is heaps of fun things already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. It's a splendid idea to have a look at Alder Creek,       it's near Swanson Reservoir, and if you need a place to stay Clackamas Inn & Suites is a great choice. Golf can be played at Springwater Golf Course; in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Creek. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area in close proximity to Swanson Reservoir has to offer. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sandy Inn; there is a great hiking trail nearby                  called the High Camp Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Swanson Reservoir is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Milo Mciver State Park is a nice place to camp nearby. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go home again. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Swanson Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Northwest Land Management, and Mollala River - North Fork is a great whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Cedar Reservoir is a lake that's close to Swanson Reservoir; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Pine Crest Trail. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Swanson Reservoir. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Swanson Reservoir dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights.
