     Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is bountiful here in the Central Cascade Range. Good hiking is available along the Edison Ice Cave and Lava Trail, and a nice place to camp here at Swampy Lakes is Snowy River RV Park. The summit of Kapka Butte can be made out from Swampy Lakes; there are great places to discover along the Swampy Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Three Creek Lake Trail; dry warm beds await you at The Pines at Sunriver.
 
   Why not explore close by Bridge Creek if you're here at Swampy Lakes; a striking lake like Tum Lake is a tremendous site to pop by. All through the summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Swampy Lakes, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Swampy Lakes. Swampy Lakes in fact is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. The best way to  
               spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Mt. Bachelor, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deschutes River.
Swampy Lakes is located in the Central Cascade Range. Swampy Lakes is a wet place that gets a good deal of precipitation; through December this area sees the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. This is a popular place for folks from Bend.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm sites, why not explore Tumalo Lake near Swampy Lakes, and camping is available at Twin Lake Resort RV Park. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. A tour to Swampy Lakes wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Tumalo Falls, and Sunriver Resort is a fine location to get some rest.
