Swampy Lake is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains. Camping is available at Perkins Creek Campground, and close by you stumble on Oak Point. And if that's not enough there's loads more enjoyable stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Dobbins Slough is right close by; if you need a site to stay Longview Travelodge is a magnificent choice. So many       enjoyable things near Swampy Lake, clearly mind-boggling. Abernethy Creek is a magnificent place to pop by, and why not camp at Marv's RV Park while you're here at Swampy Lake. Swampy Lake is a relatively wet place usually with a lot of precipitation; throughout December this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Longview is a nice site to spend a night or two,                  and Swampy Lake is not the only spot nearby, Scout Lake is a nearby lake. For the duration of the summer at Swampy Lake highs are generally in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Swampy Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Just can't get enough of the Olympic Mountains. A lake close by is Quincy Reservoir, and paddling on Elochoman River is so much fun. Since you're here at Swampy Lake why not visit Memaloose Rock, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Germany Creek.
