So much entertaining stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains, not sufficient time. Scout Lake is a pleasant lake in the neighborhood of Swampy Lake, and if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Longview is a good choice. This location, the Olympic Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. Why not take a look at Oak Point also since you're here, and as expected Abernethy Creek is a pretty stream       that is worth visiting. What a site this is for outdoors people. A swamp like Dobbins Slough close to Swampy Lake has lots of out of the ordinary things to see, and a perfect nearby hotel is Travelodge Longview. Swampy Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. At Swampy Lake during the summer months highs are in the 70's, and the night is a bit cooler                  of course, commonly in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Swampy Lake are in the 30's. If you came to camp Perkins Creek Campground is a wonderful spot to do that, and a good site for whitewater paddling is Germany Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Memaloose Rock is a good place to visit near Swampy Lake, and Swampy Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Marv's RV Park is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
