If you are in Jackson county it's always a good idea to stop by Swamp Creek Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Bieberstedt Trail is always a delightful adventure, and Bieberstedt Butte is clearly visible from Swamp Creek Reservoir. Swamp Creek Reservoir is located in the Southern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Campers Cove, and Lithia Springs Resort And Gardens is a good place to get some rest. High

on Big Butte Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Willow Lake. Swamp Creek Reservoir is a location that is reasonably waterless regularly; December is the wettest month with most rain,
and July on the other hand is the driest. Put some time aside to spend at Cougar Spring if you're here at Swamp Creek Reservoir; you could always explore Grizzly Canyon. All the outdoors cool stuff close to Swamp Creek Reservoir

 | 17 miles away You have got to be kidding. IV-V+???!!!!!! Has someone really run the falls? You make it sound like a like just any old run. It can only be run at the few times there is enough water and for a large part of the run, barb wire, willow thickets in the channel and recluses with shotguns are the main obstacles. Only the last few miles has whitewater of note and it is challenging. I ran this section in the mid eighties and claim along with my buddies Kent Erskine and Max Linn a first descent.... |

Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
