Cove is a great local campground; a good location for whitewater paddling is Big Butte Creek. Just can't get enough of the Southern Cascade Range. Windmill Inn And Suites Of Ashland is a glorious place to get some rest, and Jenny
Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. Not much rain falls here at Swamp Creek Reservoir; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is frequently the driest month.
Some of the water close by flows, like Grizzly Creek, and going for a hike on the Buck Point Trail is always a great adventure.
