Beautiful Swaggerty Reservoir has much to offer visitors. There's fine hiking along the Mount Ashland Trail, and Swaggerty Reservoir is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Lakewood RV Park is a glorious local campground. If you're here, you might as well go to Stimpson Gulch, and Hoover Pond Number One is a nearby lake that you could stop by. | | plenty of people from Medford here at Swaggerty Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Swaggerty Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Fish Lake Resort is a good spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Coal Mine Creek is a stream that you may encounter while here, and Homewood Suites by Hilton Medford is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. great local trail; Mt. Ashland is a very popular ski area close by. There's whitewater on Big Butte Creek for all you adrenaline kick people; the Alco Trail offers hiking at its best. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful
here in the Southern Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Rogue River, and if you need a location to stay La Quinta Inn Suites White City is a tremendous choice. Swaggerty Reservoir
is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great world it would be. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Stone Ridge Golf Course is
nearby, and if you get bored of Swaggerty Reservoir you could also take a look at nearby Nelson Reservoir. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do in the vicinity of Swaggerty Reservoir. Swaggerty Reservoir is a good
place of normal precipitation; through December this area sees the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the summertime at Swaggerty Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 80's while overnight lows are
usually in the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Swaggerty Reservoir temperatures drop to the 20's.

 | 17 miles away 3 PHOTOS If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
