    A visit to Suzanne Lake is always a good idea. Visiting Crater Lake National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Suzanne Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Lucile Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Darlene Lake near Suzanne Lake, it's a beautiful lake; Suzanne Lake is a brilliant spot to visit for more than one day, Shelter Cove Resort is a brilliant spot to camp nearby.  
   All through the summer months at Suzanne Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Suzanne Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Suzanne Lake ordinarily gets lots of rain; all through the month of December you get the most
 
               rain around here; the driest of the months is July. While you're here at Suzanne Lake, you could also pop by charming Windy Lakes, and there are delightful places to discover along the Windy Lakes Trail.
Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do near Suzanne Lake. Hit the slopes at Willamette Pass in the vicinity; don't leave Suzanne Lake without first going for a hike along the Calamut Way. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. You can observe Cowhorn Mountain from Suzanne Lake, and great hiking is available along the Windy Pass Way. Suzanne Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range.

This website needs updating. I was there on Aug. 2nd,3rd, and 4th 2007. There are a LOT of bass there. We saw NO trout at all, and no one we talked to had caught or seen one. I was there with 2 others for bass fishing. there is no camping at the west boat launch area. Day use only. There are 2 camp sites on the east side. The Lava Flow site is closed, and has been for some time. There is a primative site there. No water or elec. and very primative boat launching area. You have to pole or row through the tules to get out on the lake. The old campground is closed because of Eagles nest there. Eagles are no longer on the endangerd spieces list. Why not re-open that area. it has a great boat ramp. Bass fishing was great, but not many large fish when we were there. Lots of smaller bass. We were told it was real good in late June and first half of July. We will try again next year....
