Sunset Log Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Sunset Log Pond is located in the Coast Ranges. Sunset Log Pond is in close proximity to Waible Gulch which is beyond doubt worth taking a look at, and Econo Lodge Hillsboro is a brilliant site to get some rest. During the summer months highs here at Sunset Log Pond get into the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, usually in the 50's. Through the winter the highs

Dry warm beds await you at Hotel B, and getting to Jackson Creek from Sunset Log Pond is simple. This lake is so wonderful. Log Pond has to offer, you can camp at Washington County Fair Grounds. Man, is there heaps of amusing stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. A striking lake like Leichtman Sump in the vicinity of Sunset Log Pond is a tremendous site to stop by, and Lind Dam is not far at all from Sunset Log Pond.

Personally if you're going to a lake in the mountains you should be CAMPING. And there are plenty of sites to do so, both reserved and not.
