Many people like to go to Sump Lake. Sump Lake is a rather wet place usually with a good deal of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July. Go for a hike on the Crain Prairie Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Willamette Pass. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Sump Lake. Good hiking is available along the Cupit Mary Meadow Trail, and if you've had enough of

If you come at the right time of year, McKenzie River - South Fork offers some great whitewater. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. The warmest time of the year at Sump Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's with temperatures at Sump Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.

But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Central Cascade Range. It's always fine to pop by Lillian Falls; you are close to Klovdahl Bay if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but
if it's for you then we recommend Hills Creek, and Best Western Oakridge Inn is a splendid spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Cupit Mary Meadow is a beautiful location any time of year; unsurprisingly Klovdahl Creek
flows through this area.
There's so much to do here at Sump Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Springs Campground is a pleasant spot for that, and the panorama of Cupit Mary Mountain is gorgeous. Not enough hours
in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. There are good spots to look at along the Waldo Lake Trail; if you came to camp Shelter Cove Resort is a perfect place to do that.
