High temperatures at Summit Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's. Do set aside some time for Canyon Creek Meadows while                  you're here at Summit Lake, and the panorama of Porcupine Peak is delightful. Summit Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Marion Creek in the neighborhood of Summit Lake, and don't leave Summit Lake without first paying a visit to Douthit Spring. Summit Lake ordinarily gets a great deal of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is commonly the driest month. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up.
