A quick journey to Swan Creek near Summit Lake is a delightful idea, and Summit Lake is right by the Twin Ponds Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Summit Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Saddle Campground is a delightful local campground, and hiking along the Blue Rock Trail is brilliant

| | fun. Be careful coming to Summit Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Crater Lake National Park is a great local destination here at Summit Lake.
Summit Lake gets a normal amount of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. to be in the 80's; the overnight is fairly chillier of course, typically in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Summit Lake.
