Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Blue Rock Trail, and a spree to Crater Lake National Park is worthwhile. Summit Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is July. For the period of the months of summer here at Summit Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. The wintertime       brings highs down to the 40's; night lows through the winter for Summit Lake tend to be in the 20's. Take a hike on the Twin Ponds Trail, and camping is available at Saddle Campground. Swan Creek is near Summit Lake and is always a diversion to go to, and if you came for an overnight stay Upper South Fork Campground is a tremendous place to camp. Summit Lake is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. Be careful coming to the Southern Cascade Range,                  you might not ever want to go home again. Going for a hike along the Cat Hill Way will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Lakes are delightful; Squaw Lake is a lake that's near Summit Lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area right next door to Summit Lake has to offer.
