The beauty of Strube Lake is reason enough to stop by. What would a spot like Strube Lake be without interesting close by features like Deathball Rock, and obviously Cougar Creek flows through this vicinity. All year is a splendid time in the Central Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. Glide down the rapids of Lookout Creek in a kayak, and Mc Kenzie River Trailer/rv Court is a great campground here.

| | adventure along the Frissell Point Trail; the peak of Deathball Mountain can be observed from Strube Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Take a hike on the Gold Hill Trail; a brilliant nearby hotel is Best Western Oakridge Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Cougar Reservoir is near Strube Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Blue River offers some splendid whitewater.

check out all the entertaining stuff to do near Strube Lake. Hiking along the Tipsoo Trail is glorious fun; playing golf is lots of fun at Tokatee Golf Club. Strube Lake frequently gets lots of rainfall; the month with most of the
rain is November, and the driest month is July. An out of the ordinary thing to have a look at next to Strube Lake is Strube Dam, and if you came for an overnight stay Echo Campground is a tremendous place to camp.
Summertime
brings highs in the 70's to Strube Lake; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Strube Lake. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
