A good close by hotel is Comfort Inn Mcminnville, and if you get bored of Stringer Reservoir you could also go to nearby Stinger Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Olde Stone Village Mobile Home is always a great experience, and a lake close by is Stockhoff Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Best Western The Vineyard Inn Motel is a nice site to spend a night or       two, and obviously Holdridge Creek flows through this neighborhood. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Stringer Reservoir, so little time. Stringer Reservoir is near Stringer Dam which is a beautiful site definitely worth going to, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Salem.
