So many amusing things in close proximity to Strawberry Lake, just tremendous. Strawberry Lake is not the only location close by, Little Slide Lake is a close by lake. There's so much to do here at Strawberry Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Springs Campground is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Around Strawberry Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of May       is the wettest with most of the rain while July is usually the driest month. Strawberry Lake is located in the Blue Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Indian Spring Butte is easily seen from Strawberry Lake; there's brilliant hiking along the Lake Creek Trail. If you came to camp Wickiup Campground is a wonderful place to do that, and if you need a location to stay Burns - Days Inn Ponderosa is a pleasant choice. At Strawberry Lake during                  the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows at Strawberry Lake all through the wintertime regularly fall into the 20's. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western John Day Inn, and don't leave Strawberry Lake without first going for a hike along the Strawberry Basin Trail. And that's not all the things to do here in the Blue Mountains. Go for a hike on the Slide Basin Trail, and Slide Falls is always fun to check out. Just can't get enough of the Blue Mountains.
