So much cool stuff to do here in the Blue Mountains, too splendid to be true. This is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes. High Lake is a lake around here, and why not check out nearby Onion Creek if you're here at Strawberry Lake. A nice place to camp here at Strawberry Lake is Wickiup Campground, and there's great hiking along the Strawberry Basin Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the summertime       months highs here at Strawberry Lake reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Strawberry Lake. Man, is there loads of exciting stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. After a long day outdoors Burns - Days Inn Ponderosa is a good place to spend a night or two, and Strawberry Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Indian Springs Campground is a                  magnificent local campground. Yeah, come here to Strawberry Lake for a glorious time. You're perhaps keen on lakes, Little Strawberry Lake is one of those nearby, and don't leave Strawberry Lake without first going for a hike along the Slide Basin Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Strawberry Lake; Lake Creek Trail is a fine local trail, and a short tour to Slide Falls is always worthwhile. Best Western John Day Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest, and from Strawberry Lake you get a glorious view of Indian Spring Butte. Strawberry Lake is regularly a relatively arid place; May is the wettest month with most rain; July is when it's the driest.
