A large amount of rainfall falls at Stone Reservoir; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. A lake close by is McGill Reservoir; if you came to camp Portland Fairview RV Park is a perfect spot to do that. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in close proximity to Stone Reservoir has to offer. Get wet       paddling on Little Washougal River, and Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a great site to get some rest. Visit Arata Creek if you're here at Stone Reservoir, and Stone Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Portland-fairview RV Park is a great local campground. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Central Cascade Range. Stone Reservoir is not the only site nearby, Fairview Lake is a nearby lake, and at Stone                  Reservoir you always meet someone from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Central Cascade Range. Persimmon Country Club Persimmon is a golf course close to Stone Reservoir; during your stay here do pop by close by Sundial Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Washougal River, and dry warm beds await you at East Portland/Gresham Travelodge. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. High temperatures at Stone Reservoir during the months of summer are in the 80's; the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, typically in the 50's.
