For the duration of the days of summer at Stewart Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Stewart Lake. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Coast Ranges. Swamps are interesting sites and Stewart Slough next to Stewart Lake is no exception, and if you've       had enough of Stewart Lake, Fisher Island Pond is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do in the vicinity of Stewart Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Willamette River, and Salbasgeon Suites is a good place to get some rest. Stewart Lake gets a good deal of water; during December this area sees the most rain; the driest month is July. Stewart Lake is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. This                  lake is so wonderful. Stewart Lake is a spot with many visitors from Corvallis. There's so much to do here at Stewart Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tahkenitch Campground - Siuslaw National Forest is a perfect place for that. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. Get covered with water paddling on Marys River, and if you're a golfer then a perfect nearby course is Marysville Golf Course. A quick spree to Dixon Creek near Stewart Lake is a pleasant idea; you can stay the night at Carter Lake - Siuslaw National Forest.
