So many cool things in the Siskiyou Mountains, just amazing. While you're here at Steppe Reservoir, you could also visit striking Werner Reservoir, and don't leave Steppe Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Kerby Peak Trail. Go for a hike on the Coffee Pot Trail. Grants Pass Travelodge is a brilliant place to get some rest; why not camp at Grants Pass Over-niters while you're       here at Steppe Reservoir. Man, is there a load of exciting things to do near Steppe Reservoir. Good hiking is available along the Grayback Trail, and Grave Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Summertime at Steppe Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's while Steppe Reservoir night low temperatures during                  the winter are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful place to camp here at Steppe Reservoir is Bend O' The River; if you haven’t been to Oregon Caves National Monument, you should schedule some time for it while you're here. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Siskiyou Mountains. Don't forget to take a glorious little tour to Lathrop Creek, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a sight of at Werner Dam close to Steppe Reservoir. Steppe Reservoir is a good place of common precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Steppe Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Siskiyou Mountains. A good nearby hotel is Riverside Inn Resort, and a round of golf at nearby Red Mountain Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful.
