Lakes are good; Charlie Smith Reservoir is a lake that's close to Stekel Reservoir, and Scheckels Dam is an interesting thing to check out. Mountain Creek is a splendid local stream, and if you came for an overnight stay Ray Cole Campground is a great place to camp. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Stekel Reservoir. On a magnificent day at Stekel       Reservoir you can take a hike along the Call Meadow Trail, and going for a hike on the Fawn Spring Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Man, is there plenty of amusing things to do in the Blue Mountains. This is a great area for folks who like lakes. Scheckels Reservoir is a lake close at hand, and why not camp at Rock Springs Campground while you're here at Stekel Reservoir. Stekel Reservoir is frequently a relatively waterless spot; the wettest month                  of the year is regularly December, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Mountains. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Blue Mountains, too wonderful to be true. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Stekel Reservoir get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Stekel Reservoir.
