Many people like to go to Starr Reservoir. Starr Reservoir is located in the Blue Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Starr Reservoir; Hale Spring Trail is a delightful local trail, and soar down the rapids of Grande Ronde River in a kayak. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Starr Reservoir.
Around Starr Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls during November,

| | and the driest of the months is July. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Blue Mountains. Nearby Bull Canyon is a perfect place to go if you're at Starr Reservoir, and it's a great idea to explore Coon Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Starr Reservoir is right by the Five Points Trail, and La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort is a wonderful campground here.

a great local attraction, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. Spout Springs is a magnificent local ski area; everyone nearby loves skiing at Anthony Lakes. If
you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Starr Reservoir. Howard Johnson is a good spot to get some rest; if you're visiting from La Grande, you won't be the only one.
Why not take a refreshing hike along
the Summit Mount Emily Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Grandview Campground is a fine place to camp. Summertime highs at Starr Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the
50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Starr Reservoir temperatures descend to the 20's. Get soaked paddling on Grande Ronde River; lakes are such calm places, why not explore Feik Reservoirs.
