Many people like to go to Starr Reservoir. Starr Reservoir is located in the Blue Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Grande Ronde River, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by La Grande. Dry warm beds await you at Lagrande Super 8 Motel; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Grande Ronde River. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Hale Spring Trail is always

There's so much to do here at Starr Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort is a great location for that, and you'll find a lovely lake called Feik Reservoirs. place, the Blue Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. After a long day outdoors Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a great place to spend a night or two, and there are magnificent locations to explore along the Summit Mount
Emily Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Coon Creek is a stream that you may run into during your stay, and don't leave Starr Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Five Points Trail. High temperatures at Starr Reservoir
through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Starr Reservoir drop into the
20's. At Starr Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is July. Spout Springs is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Starr Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Grandview Campground.

 | 12 miles away 9 PHOTOS ...d was first known as the Blue Mountain Ski Club. Pete and Esther Eyraud were the first owners. Pete was the second President of Pacific Northwest Ski Instructors Association and was instrumental in bringing the first French ski instructors to the northwest ski areas. Its name is derived from the numerous natural springs that are found throughout the region. There are three springs on the resort's property. Spout Springs has 2 double chair lifts, a 21 KM cross country trail system, night skiing (the entire area is lighted), and one of the states few free tubing hills. In the late 60's, Spout Springs was the Nordic training center for the United States Olympic team and the Norwegian jump team. Spout Springs flies the Olympic Flag for this distinction.
