Stark Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Just can't get enough of Stark Reservoir. There are other places here than Stark Reservoir, for example Heard Reservoir, and Stark Reservoir is not far at all from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton. The yearly precipitation here at Stark Reservoir is about average; through December this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. | | be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Stark Reservoir temperatures drop to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Roamer's Rest RV Park since you're here at Stark Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Embassy Suites Hotel Portland-Washington Square/Conf. from Stark Reservoir, you'll locate Crystal Lake which is a delightful lake, and while you're here, you could explore Ash Creek. You can distinguish Bull Mountain from Stark Reservoir, and enjoy a round of golf at King City Golf

 | Don't Go all the way to wilsonville for a hotel. if you head in towards portland on the 26, there are plenty of hotels from government camp to welches. Personally if you're going to a lake in the mountains you should be CAMPING. And there are plenty of sites to do so, both reserved and not. There are great hiking trails and it's also full of fish and crawdads. Boating is a must if possible.... |
