Fish Lake Resort is a delightful local campground; you can take a little journey to Stanley Dam since you're here at Stanley Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Bieberstedt Trail will let you                  absorb the natural beauty of this area; get wet paddling on Rogue River - North Fork. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Big Butte Creek, and you can hit the slopes at Mt. Ashland around here. During the warm months, highs regularly are in the 90's at Stanley Reservoir with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Stanley Reservoir. Yeah, come here to Stanley Reservoir for a nice time.
