    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Stanley Reservoir. Yeah, come up here to the Southern Cascade Range for a good time. Why not stop by close by Long Branch since you're here at Stanley Reservoir, and Owens Reservoir is a good lake nearby. Be careful coming to the Southern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go home again. A pretty lake like Owen Reservoir in the neighborhood of Stanley Reservoir is a great spot to have a look at, and you're sure  
   to come across some great folks from Medford here. If you came for an overnight stay Medford Oaks Campark is a brilliant site to camp, and after a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn And Suites Ashland is a great location to spend a night or two.
Fish Lake Resort is a delightful local campground; you can take a little journey to Stanley Dam since you're here at Stanley Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Bieberstedt Trail will let you
 
               absorb the natural beauty of this area; get wet paddling on Rogue River - North Fork. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Big Butte Creek, and you can hit the slopes at Mt. Ashland around here.
During the warm months, highs regularly are in the 90's at Stanley Reservoir with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Stanley Reservoir. Yeah, come here to Stanley Reservoir for a nice time. The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
So much cool stuff to do here at Stanley Reservoir, too great to be true. While you're here at Stanley Reservoir you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 19; Econo Lodge Ashland is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Buck Point Trail; if you yearn for a little side journey, try Rocky Gulch. Stanley Reservoir is pretty arid regularly; December is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is July.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
