Many people like to go to Stanley Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Pine Cove Motel and Trailer Court, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Sunset Beach. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Stanley Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 40's with temperatures at Stanley Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. You truly should go for Stanley

| | Lake. Bear Valley is right here at Stanley Lake; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Sunset Beach.
The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. Stanley Lake gets a large amount of water; most of the rain falls during December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Mill Creek is a pleasant place to explore; a glorious site for whitewater paddling is Nehalem River.

choice. This site, the Coast Ranges, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. There are other sites here than Stanley Lake, for example Chapman Ponds; hiking along the Cannon Beach Trail is good fun. So much fun stuff to do in the Coast
Ranges, not enough time. The wonderful people of Astoria like to hang out close by, and a splendid close by hotel is Rivertide Suites Hotel.
A tremendous location to camp here at Stanley Lake is Venice RV Park, and a trip to Fort
Clatsop National Memorial is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop by Mantel Lake close to Stanley Lake, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Highlands Golf Course is close at hand.
