The beauty of Stanley Lake is reason enough to stop by. Highlands Golf Course is a brilliant golf course nearby, and why not a little side trip to Mill Creek. Stanley Lake is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges.
But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Coast Ranges. The Cannon Beach Trail is a nice hiking trail next to Stanley Lake, and you'll in all probability meet some people from Astoria here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds

| | await you at Bungalow City Motel, and Sunset Beach is a beautiful beach to stop at. You're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Chapman Ponds is one of those nearby, and Colonial Motor Inn is a magnificent spot to get some rest.

Lake is Pine Cove Motel and Trailer Court, and there's whitewater on Nehalem River for all you thrill seekers. Just can't get enough of Stanley Lake. Fort Clatsop National Memorial is a great national park, and a pleasant trip to
Bear Valley is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.
High temperatures at Stanley Lake throughout the warm months are in the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs
through the winter are in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Stanley Lake tend to be in the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. Stanley Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Venice
RV Park is a great local campground, and you should beyond doubt check out delightful Sunset Beach while you're here.
