A magnificent view of delightful Lakeview Mountain is available from Stag Lake, and hiking along the Fawn Lake Trail is great fun. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Lucile Campground is a glorious campground nearby; some of the water close by flows, like Crystal Creek. So much exciting stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just incredible. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Crater Butte Trail; why not stop by Serenity       Bay also since you're here. High temperatures at Stag Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Stag Lake dip into the 20's. What a place this is for outdoors people. Nearby lakes? Sure, Saddle Lake is close to Stag Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Shelter Cove Resort is a wonderful                  place to camp. Stag Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. Stag Lake is right by the Pretty Lake Trail; Crater Lake National Park is a great national park. A lot of precipitation falls at Stag Lake; through December this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Central Cascade Range.
