Having a perfect time in the Central Cascade Range is uncomplicated. Stay the night at Shelter Cove Resort; Crystal Creek is in the neighborhood of Stag Lake and is always a diversion to stop at. There's so much to do here at Stag Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Lucile Campground is a great site for that; the peak of Lakeview Mountain can be distinguished from Stag Lake. But wait, there's more       entertaining stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. While you're here at Stag Lake you can take a hike along the Fawn Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Willamette Pass is close to Stag Lake; going for a hike along the Pretty Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Lakes are delightful; Odell Lake is a lake that's next to Stag Lake, and Serenity Bay is close by and always glorious to stop                  at. All the outdoors cool things in close proximity to Stag Lake will keep you coming back many times. On a great day at Stag Lake you can take a hike along the Crater Butte Trail, and do pay a visit to Crater Lake National Park while you're here at Stag Lake. Stag Lake typically gets a great deal of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Summertime highs at Stag Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
