    It's always fun to stop by Squaw Lake. Squaw Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Coal Creek Campground is a glorious place to camp nearby, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Lower River Trail. It's a nice idea to explore Bear Creek, it's near Squaw Lake; Big Tree Campground is a pleasant local campground. All the water falling down from the sky makes Squaw Lake a wet place; December is when you get the most rain here, and  
   July on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. And that's not all you can do here in the Coast Ranges. While you're here at Squaw Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Brookings. All through the summertime months here at Squaw Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's; nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Squaw
 
               Lake tend to be in the 30's.
So many entertaining things in the Coast Ranges, just fantastic. A journey to Coquille River Falls will fill your soul with nice feelings, and the Bear Camp Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Why not pop by a swamp like Cedar Swamp since you're here at Squaw Lake; you can run the rapids of Coquille River - South Fork. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Squaw Lake. Coquille River Falls Natural Area is a tremendous local forest; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Mountain Wells Trail.
