Squaw Lake is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. Squaw Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. Camping is available at Coal Creek Campground; swamps like Cedar Swamp are fun to check out. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Coast Ranges. Nearby lakes? Sure, Dads Lake is close to       Squaw Lake, and you can run the rapids of Coquille River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Coquille River Falls Natural Area is worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Bear Camp Trail, and you're sure to bump into some fine folks from Brookings here. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is bountiful here in the Coast Ranges.
