    Beautiful Squaw Creek Reservoir has much to offer visitors. Squaw Creek Reservoir is located in the Blue Mountains. Not far from Squaw Creek Reservoir, you'll come across Dry Gulch Reservoir which is a lovely lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Squaw Creek Reservoir; Black Canyon Trail is a great local trail. This place, the Blue Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. Fish House Inn is a great campground nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike  
   along the Coffeepot Trail.
Do pay a visit to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument since you're here at Squaw Creek Reservoir, and tremendous hiking is available along the South Prong Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop at nearby Bay Steer Creek if you're here at Squaw Creek Reservoir, and there are other places here than Squaw Creek Reservoir, for example Thicket Reservoir. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do next to Squaw Creek
 
               Reservoir. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Tree Campground is a brilliant place to camp, and Crowbar Spring is always fun to check out.
Squaw Creek Reservoir is a location that is rather waterless frequently; November is when you get the most rain here; September is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Squaw Creek Reservoir during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's; the overnight is rather colder of course, typically in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Squaw Creek Reservoir. So much exciting stuff to do in the Blue Mountains, not enough time. After a long day outdoors Best Western John Day Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two.
