If you come at the right time of year, Squaw Creek offers some perfect whitewater; scenic scenery and magnificent skiing is what you obtain at Mt. Bachelor. This is a wonderful region for folks who like lakes. McKenzie Canyon Reservoir is a lake around here, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Bend here. If only every site had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. Squaw Creek Irrigation District Dam is an exciting                  thing to check out; Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a nice spot to get some rest. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Central Cascade Range. There are some good whitewater spots on Metolius River; don't leave Squaw Creek Irrigation District Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Green Lakes Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Go for a hike on the Swampy Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
