This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Long Lake is a glorious lake right next door to Square Lake, and camping is available at Black Butte Resort. Square Lake commonly gets a great deal of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. | | ordinarily in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Square Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. Man, is there a load of entertaining stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. cool stuff just keep reading. Douthit Spring is an inspiring place to go to while here; why not head up to Hoodoo and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Suttle Lake Resort and Marina is always a perfect
experience; there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Cache Lake Trail. You can run the rapids of Marion Creek near Square Lake, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not take a look at Booth Lake. So many exciting
things to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too magnificent to be true. On a good day at Square Lake you can take a hike along the Round Lake Trail, and if you need a location to stay Lodge at Suttle Lake is a good choice.
