Spirit Lake is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Millicoma River - West Fork, and a round of golf at nearby Kentuck Golf Course is a fine way to kill some time. All the water falling down from the sky makes Spirit Lake a wet place; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest       month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Near Spirit Lake you hit upon the Threemile Lake Trail which is a fine hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. You are near Coos Bay while you're here at Spirit Lake; you can stay the night at Firs Mobile Home and RV Park. North Slough flows through this neighborhood, and if you're here, you could also stop by delightful Teal Lake. For the period of the months of summer here at Spirit Lake, high temperatures                  ordinarily reach the 60's. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Spirit Lake dip into the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges.
