The peak of Bald Mountain can be observed from Spaulding Reservoir; Moon Mountain RV Resort is a brilliant campground nearby. So many fun things in the Siskiyou Mountains, just incredible. You'll meet a lot of people from Grants Pass here, and going for a hike on the Kerby Peak Trail is always a great adventure. Cold Springs Reservoir is a good lake next to Spaulding Reservoir;       if you came for an overnight stay Riverpark RV Resort is a tremendous spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Near Spaulding Reservoir you find Hamlin Gulch which is a delightful place to have a look at, and don't leave Spaulding Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Oregon Caves Trail. The yearly rain here at Spaulding Reservoir is about average; through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July. Whohoo, so many cool                  things in one place!
