A gorgeous lake like Unger Reservoir next to Spangler Pond is a wonderful place to explore, and after a long day outdoors Best Western University Inn is a great location to spend a night or two. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable things to do right next door to Spangler Pond. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Hillsboro is a brilliant choice; lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Dober Reservoir. If       you came for an overnight stay Washington County Fair Grounds is a nice location to camp, and since you're here and you like golf, you can go to Forest Hills Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Pine Ridge Park is a great campground nearby; not far from Spangler Pond you acquire some fine water scenery at Dober Dam. Spangler Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most, and                  the driest of the months is July. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Spangler Pond, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's.
