Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Mystic Lake, and paddling on Klamath River is so much fun. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to South Pass Lake; the night is fairly cooler of course, typically in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at South       Pass Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. South Pass Lake is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow; July is when it's the driest. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Southern Cascade Range. Rocky Point Resort is a great campground nearby, and close by you locate magnificent spots like South Pass. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at South Pass Lake. South                  Pass Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Lake Of The woods Resort is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and Aspen Butte is a peak you can see from South Pass Lake. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is plentiful here in the Southern Cascade Range. Going for a hike on the Moss Creek Trail is always a fine adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn/Klamath Falls. Go for a hike on the Varney Creek Trail, and Super 8 Klamath Falls is a great place to get some rest. There is a wonderful hiking trail next to South Pass Lake called the South Pass Lake Trail; unsurprisingly, this is a magnificent neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Paragon Lake is a lake in close proximity.
