South Lagoon usually gets a large amount of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Salishan Spa And Golf Resort is a tremendous choice, and South Lagoon is in the neighborhood of Salishan Spit which is positively worth going to. Summertime at South Lagoon comes with high temperatures       in the 60's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at South Lagoon. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Camping at South Lagoon is great fun, Tree 'n' Sea Trailer Park is a great local campground. A pleasant close by hotel is Looking Glass Inn; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling                  on Siletz River. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. Getting to Drift Creek from South Lagoon is simple, and a picturesque lake like North Lagoon is a good spot to visit. So much cool stuff in the Coast Ranges, just extraordinary.
