Mill Creek is a charming stream that is worth visiting, and if you come at the right time of year, Klickitat River offers some great whitewater. All through the summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Sorosis Reservoir; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter       at Sorosis Reservoir temperatures sink to the 20's. Sorosis Reservoir is right by the Fifteenmile Creek Trail; a delightful close by hotel is The Dalles Super 8 Motel. You're probably interested in lakes, Taylor Lake is one of those close by, and you can stay the night at Dallesport Mobile Home Park. Sorosis Reservoir gets a typical amount of annual rain; during the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is the month with the least                  amount of precipitation. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. Don't forget to visit Klindt Point if you're here at Sorosis Reservoir, and if you need a site to stay The Dalles Inn is a brilliant choice. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Dry Hollow is a great location to spend some time at, and lots of people from City of The Dalles come here. Foley Lakes Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Ball Point Trail. That right there is a load of exciting things already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all.
