Snell Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is regularly the driest month. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Willamette Pass, and Lake Lucile Campground is a good local campground.       At Snell Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Snell Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Snell Lake, you'll find Farrell Lake which is a striking lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Fawn Lake Way. All the outdoors amusing stuff in close proximity to Snell Lake will keep you                  coming back over and over. Crater Lake National Park is a great national park. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range.
