A journey to Lava Beds National Monument is worthwhile, and Muckney Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Smokey Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Southern Cascade Range is unbeatable! From Smokey Lake you obtain a tremendous view of Bug Butte, and if you get bored of Smokey Lake you could       also check out nearby Wild Billy Lake. Smokey Lake gets very little rain; December is the month that gets the most snow; July is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Smokey Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Smokey Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water                  includes Whisky Creek.
