These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the Siskiyou Mountains. It's a glorious idea to pop by Bear Branch, it's near Smith Reservoir, and there are other spots here than Smith Reservoir, for example McCollum Reservoir. Through the days of summer at Smith Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime       brings highs down to the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Smith Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Grants Pass Inn; not far from Smith Reservoir you'll come across Badcock Reservoir which is a pretty lake. You definitely have to go for the Siskiyou Mountains. Going for a hike on the Canyon Number Three Trail is always a wonderful adventure. I can't stop, cause I'm                  havin' a great time here at Smith Reservoir. Best Western Inn At The Rogue is a brilliant site to get some rest, and Bridgeview Rv Resort is a perfect campground nearby. Near Smith Reservoir you stumble on the Red Mountain Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and a tremendous location for whitewater paddling is Rogue River. The amount of rainfall that falls at Smith Reservoir is close to the national average; December is the month that gets the most rain; July is when it's the driest.
