At Smith Reservoir throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Smith Reservoir drop into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Since you're here at Smith Reservoir why not take a look at Sibold Canyon, and if you're here you will       meet lots of folks from close by Roseburg. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. There's so much to do here at Smith Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Rivers Vacation Park is a delightful location for that; you acquire a perfect view of Irwin Rocks from here. Smith Reservoir gets a large amount of water; during the month of December you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is July. So much enjoyable                  stuff near Smith Reservoir, just remarkable. Safari Inn is a brilliant location to get some rest, and why not take a little tour to Flournoy Creek since you're here. Smith Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back persistently. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Umpqua River - South, and you can stay the night at Umpqua Safari Camp Ground and RV. A lake close by is Wylie Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Sweet Breeze Inn is a glorious site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
