Red Lion Hotel Coos Bay is a wonderful place to get some rest, and do stop by C A Smith L and M Company Storage Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake. Smith Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is frequently the driest month. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a fine time. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater       of Coos River - South Fork; Coos Country Club is a good golf course close by. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back again and again. A trip to Smith Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Alder Spring, and close by Archie Gulch is a good location to go. Here at Smith Reservoir you'll probably meet some folks from Coos Bay; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Brainard Creek. If you came for                  an overnight stay Lucky Loggers RV Park is a nice place to camp. Having a great time at Smith Reservoir is trouble-free. There's whitewater on Millicoma River - West Fork for all you adrenaline people, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Holiday Motel is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Smith Reservoir you find White Point, and Portside RV Park is a magnificent campground here. This lake is so wonderful. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a glimpse of at C A Smith Dam next to Smith Reservoir; at Smith Reservoir you can see Bunker Hill. High temperatures at Smith Reservoir during the days of summer are in the 60's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Smith Reservoir are in the 30's.
