It's always fun to stop by Smith Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a good time. People from Astoria love to come to Smith Lake, and a lake nearby is Long Lake. Smith Lake is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Sunset Lake Resort and Park is a glorious location to camp nearby; Smith Lake is right by the Cannon Beach Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Smith Lake a rather wet spot; during December this area sees the most rain;

This lake is so wonderful. Burke Lake is an attention-grabbing swamp close to Smith Lake, and Cemetery Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Smith Lake is located in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. Fort Clatsop National Memorial is a delightful local destination here at Smith Lake.

West Kampground, and dry warm beds await you at Red Lion Inn Astoria. Throughout the warm months highs here at Smith Lake get into the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs
in the 40's while Smith Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Old Skipanon Creek is a lovely stream that is worth taking a look at; beaches are good and Sunset Beach is no exception.
