Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Small Fry Lake is one of them. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Central Cascade Range. The High Camp Trail offers hiking at its best; needless to say, this is a good area for folks who like lakes, Slow Springs Reservoir is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Gresham. Small Fry Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful.

Fox RV Park is a great spot to camp. Lakes are magnificent; Sams Ponds is a lake that's next to Small Fry Lake. This place, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Northwest Land Management is a good local
campground, and don't leave Small Fry Lake without first paying a visit to Hillockburn Spring. For the duration of the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Small Fry Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures
fall down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Small Fry Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Small Fry Lake a wet site; most of the rain falls during December; the driest month is July.

 | 15 miles away ...kend and we were disappointed to find that S. Mollala Forest Rd narrows and now effectively ends. Actually, it continues, but the road is impeded by a gate sporting many 'no trespassing' signs and marking it 'private property'. When we got to this point, we were just about to turn around and go home when another car drove past us onto the road. Having driven for several hours to get there, we dared to venture further, and followed the car despite the many warnings on the gate. Now, if you are reading this please heed my advice... never do what we did. Do not try to find this trail. Listen to signs. They are usually there for a reason. We could not locate the next road to turn on because all the old street signs had been removed and all of the old turn-offs warned away the unauthorized with huge boulders blocking the road, locked gates and more no-trespassing signs. After taking some pictures of beautifully dilapidated country houses, we decided to call it a day and return home empty handed.
