Sure, Smith Lake is just a very short distance away. For you golfers we recommend close by Astoria Golf & Country Club, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Astoria for sure. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in

| | the Coast Ranges. A splendid location to camp here at Slusher Lake is Sunset Lake Resort and Park, unsurprisingly you could also stop by Sunset Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.
Slusher Lake is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Ocean View Resort is a fine place to get some rest; if you have time, Fort Clatsop National Memorial is a national park worth stopping at. You think that's enough? Just getting | |

warmed up. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Slusher Lake; Cannon Beach Trail is a tremendous local trail; why not go to close by Old Skipanon Creek while you're here at Slusher Lake.

things already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. A brilliant beach near Slusher Lake is Sunset Beach, and camping is available at Kampers West Kampground. At Slusher Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in
the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Slusher Lake. The high level of rainfall makes
Slusher Lake a relatively wet place; December is the wettest month with most rain; July on the other hand is the driest.

...s located on the Long Beach peninsula at the mouth of the Columbia river. The Park is 2. 2 acres with 56 sites on it. All sites are grass, tables at each site, full hook-up with cable and Wi-Fi available. We are 2. 5 blocks from the beach and 14 blocks from downtown. We have showers, laundry, and a meeting hall available to groups. Our Park is perpendicular to the highway so most sites are well away from the road. There are hiking and bicycling trails, a national wildlife refuge, two beautiful light houses and much history dating back to Lewis and Clark's discovery in 1805. A great place to do exploring, fishing, hiking, and just being able to set on the beach and enjoy nature.
The town of Long Beach still retains some of the old charm from the 40's and 50's, yet being able to provide you with up to date services. Great dinning is available from several restaurants. Horse back riding, the Dunes Beach trail that now leads from Ilwaco north to north 16th St in Long Beach (7+ miles).
